The Department of Physics at Shri Govind Guru University is dedicated to developing future professionals and physicists with a solid understanding of the rapidly evolving fields of physics. The Department emphasises hands-on application learning through a variety of projects, research-oriented modules, industry visits and research-oriented project like problem-solving, analytical thinking, logical reasoning, research skill and prepare them to enter research, academic and Industry confidently and make a mark. The department of Physics offers M. Sc. through 4 semesters Choice Based Credit System (CBSC) with Twelve core papers (compulsory courses) and Six Elective papers (based on four specializations of Electronics, Nuclear Physics, Space Physics and Materials Science and Candence Matter Physics) in the M. Sc. Physics Course offer good diversity and further professional and research opportunities to students. Also, department of Physics offers Ph. D. Course as per UGC regulations.
