Dr. Jignesh P. Raval
Dr. Jignesh Raval is presently working as Professor and Head, Department of Chemistry, Shri Govind Guru University, Godhra. He has earned his M.Phil degree in the year 1994 and doctorate degree in the year 1998 from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University and is having 25 years of Teaching and Research experience along with 3 years of Industrial Experience. His Area of Specialization is Organic Chemistry and Area of Interest is Medicinal Chemistry, Green Chemistry and Novel drug delivery systems. He has published more than 50 Research articles/papers in International refereed journals, 2 Books & 3 book Chapters in National/International Publishing houses and presented more than 90 articles/papers in international conferences/proceedings with 1000 citations, h-index 17 and i-10 index of 25. (as on May 2024). He has successfully completed one minor research projects as student mentor funded by GUJCOST in the area of drug delivery systems. He has guided more than 125 post graduate dissertations and 04 Ph.D scholars. At present, five students have been actively pursuing their doctoral degrees under his supervision in the fields of Medicinal Chemistry. He is a life member of various academic societies/institutes like ISCBC, ICC and ICS. Furthermore, as an educator he integrates digital resources seamlessly into teaching practice, aligning them with students' interests and learning objectives. By leveraging technology, he aims to enhance the learning experience, foster digital literacy, and prepare students for the demands of the 21st-century workforce.
