Dr. Shailesh N. Ransariya
Dr. Shailesh N. Ransariya (M.Com., M.Phil., B.Ed., D.T.L.P., Ph.D., UGC-NET, PGDBM) is presently working as an Associate Professor, Department of Commerce, Shri Govind Guru University, Godhra (Gujarat). He has a total academic experience of more than 18 years for B.Com., M.Com. and M.B.A. Dr. Ransariya has completed UGC approved minor research project on “Relationship of Corporate Social Responsibility and Financial Parameters of BSE Index Companies”. He has written more than 15 books in the subjects of Accountancy, Finance and Commerce and Co-Author in more than 35 books. He has contributed more than 85 research and analytical articles in the prestigious International and National level Research Journals. Also he has presented more than 90 research papers in various State, National and International Level conferences, seminars and workshops during his 18 years of academic career.
He has also extended his service as a Resource Person in various academic institutions for relevant courses; delivered more than 10 keynote addresses & talks and chaired technical sessions at International, National & State Level seminars and conferences. Dr. Ransariya has guided 6 Ph. D. Scholars in the area of Commerce & Management. 5 Ph. D. Scholars are currently working under him.
Moreover, presently he is working as a Chief Editor and Editor in the International and National journals.
Education
- B.Com. degree with first class from Saurashtra University in 2002 with specialization in Accounting & Auditing.
- M.Com. degree with first class from Saurashtra University in 2004 with specialization in Advanced Management Accountancy.
- M.Phil. degree in Commerce with Distinction from Saurashtra University in 2005.
- Ph.D. in the Faculty of Commerce from Saurashtra University in 2010. Thesis titled, “Financial Growth Indicator of Merger and Acquisition in Indian Corporate Sector” under the guidance of Prof. Daksha Pratapsinh Chauhan.
- B.Ed. degree with distinction from Saurashtra University in 2006.
- DTLP degree with first from Saurashtra University in 2007.
- Qualified in the National Eligibility Test of UGC for lectureship in 2011.
Work Experience:
- Currently employed as an Associate Professor of Commerce, in the Department of Commerce & Management, Shri Govind Guru University, Godhra (Gujarat) from 10th August, 2023.
- Employed as an Assistant Professor in Smt. KSN Kansagara Mahila Arts & Commerce College, Rajkot for 28th January, 2016 to 9th August, 2023.
- Employed as an Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Commerce and Accountancy in SSP Jain Arts & Commerce College, Dhrangadhra for 19th March, 2012 to 27th January, 2016.
- Employed as Lecturer of Accountancy in Om Vindhyavasini College of Information Technology & Management, Morbi for 1st September 2011 to 18th March, 2012.
- Employed as Lecturer of Accountancy in P.G. Patel Commerce College, Morbi for 1st June, 2006 to 31st May, 2009.
- Visiting Faculty, Department of Commerce & Business Administration, Saurashtra University, Rajkot for 2 years.
