Dr. Rahul Shah (M.Sc., Ph.D., Young Scientist Award) is presently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Physics at Shri Govind Guru University, Godhra.
Dr. Shah taught at the UG and PG level for 13 years. More than 50 students have completed their master’s dissertation under his guidance. His teaching style could involve a mixed mode lectures, discussions, multimedia presentations and hands-on activities to sustain to different learning styles and occupy his students effectively. Ultimate goal as a teacher is not just to transmit information but to stimulate and empower the students to become enduring learners who are equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to attain both academically and personally.
A proficient academic leader, Dr. Shah has delivered various professional development programs, faculty development programs (FDPs), workshops and conferences. He has authored 5 books. He has also presented several research papers in national and international seminar/conferences. He has published more than 10 Research articles/papers in National/International refereed journals.
I strongly believe in the power of effective communication to promote learning. Through clear instruction, active engagement and productive feedback. I endeavor to create an environment where students feel empowered to explore, question and grow.
Dr. Shah has commenced academic, administrative and admission related responsibilities at various levels, such as Nodal Officer for ABC ID, Exam In-Charge of Department as Chief Conductor, Senior Supervisor also University Observer, Central Assessment, B.Sc. and M.Sc. Practical Examiner as well as several time subject expert panel in the university interview. NAAC Coordination, Abhimanyu Award Coordinator, Academic, Research & Technical Event Coordination. Beyond academics, Dr. Shah has a passion for extracurricular activities such as National Level Player in Sports as well as coordinator, adventure, reflecting also his dynamic personality and commitment to universal development.
