Established in 2015 under Gujarat Act No. 24/2015, the university has experienced rapid growth, expanding from 91 colleges in 2015 to over 300 colleges by 2025. I am filled with an overwhelming sense of pride as I look back on the journey and the anticipation for the remarkable journey that lies ahead. Our university stands as a beacon of knowledge, innovation, and community engagement, and together, we are dedicated to nurturing the minds and spirits of our tribal students, empowering them to forge their paths toward success.
It has been my honour to serve and uplift the downtrodden section of the tribal communities of the region. Bold and innovative steps have always been integral to the journey dedicated to the singular motto of transforming local lives and elevating educational standards to address the regional needs of society. Integrating the downtrodden section into the mainstream of society while preserving their heritage and culture contributes to the national cause of cultural preservation. I find it a pious duty to be a part of building a nation in which integration of all the sections of society is the key to success.
In addition to this, keeping in view the local potential among the naturally athletic community, we have established world-class sports facilities on the campus to provide the community with the much-required exposure to showcase and hone their athletic and sporting abilities. World-class running tracks, Ranji Level Cricket Ground, and an Indoor sports complex are some of the examples of my efforts.
We have adhered to the mantra of glory, divinity, and majesty to attain our objectives. We have ensured that the principles have been rigorously followed in all university activities. Further, we have diligently followed the mantra of our success, ensuring grandeur in founding the departments and other units of the university during my tenure. As the mark of divinity in our university, the first degree of D.Lit. was awarded to Gyanvatsal Swami, providing an ideal example of divinity in education. The talks by Morari Bapu, Shri Arif Mohammad Khan, the then Governor of Kerala and now the Governor of Bihar, and other noble programmes of the Vedvyas Chair speak volumes about the university’s efforts to recognise the motto of divinity while fostering nation-building through character development.
As we journey forward, I invite you to share your thoughts, aspirations, and concerns. Your feedback is invaluable in shaping the future of our growing institution. Together, we can cultivate an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to pursue their passions with vigour and determination.
