Dr. Vishva Mahavir Jain (B.Sc, M.Sc, GSET, Ph.D) is presently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Shri Govind Guru University, Godhra (Gujarat). He has completed his Ph.D from Department of Physics, SVNIT, Surat and has total academic experience of 12 years at UG and PG level. With a strong belief in lifelong learning, he continuously strives to enhance his expertise in both teaching and research.

 

Dr. Jain has actively contributed to the field of materials science and nanotechnology, with a special focus on nanoparticle synthesis and applications. His research has been recognized through grants, awards and research papers. His innovative mindset is reflected in his design patents and copyrights granted by The Patent Office, Government of India

 

His research covers areas such as:

  •    - Optical and structural properties of nano-thin films
  •    - Photocatalytic and antimicrobial applications of nanomaterials
  •    - Crystal growth and their photodetector application
  •    - Memristors for gamma-ray detection

 

Dr. Jain has played a crucial role in university administration, contributing to: Admissions, Curriculum development, Student counseling, Examination supervision, Assessment, SSIP implementation, Social activity club, and NAAC accreditation efforts. He is actively involved in academic events; he has guided multiple dissertation projects, participated in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and organized conferences, workshops, and seminars at national and international levels.

 

With an unwavering commitment to education and research, Dr. Vishva Mahavir Jain continues to upgrade student’s potential through his efforts and contribute to scientific advancements in physics and nanotechnology.
