Dr. Parimalsinh Ramsinh Chavda is an Assistant Professor in Department of Economics. With a strong academic background, he holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Sardar Patel University (2019), an M.Phil. in Economics (2013), and an M.Com. in Business Economics (2007) from M.S. University, Baroda.
Dr. Chavda has extensive teaching experience, having served as a Lecturer at various institutions, including Shri P.M. Patel Institute of Business Administration, Shri V.Z. Patel Commerce College, and Shri D.N. Institute of Business Administration in Anand.
His research interests lie in economic development and rural employment schemes. He has published several research papers in reputed journals, focusing on topics such as the impact of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) and Women empowerment through MGNREGS. Additionally, he has contributed chapters to academic books and presented papers at national and international conferences.
Dr. Chavda has played a key role in curriculum development, serving on syllabus committees for BBA and economics courses at various institutions. He has also been invited as a guest lecturer at multiple colleges and has participated in faculty training programs, including the Faculty Induction Programme at HRDC-Sardar Patel University.
