Dr. Jagrutiben G. Raj (B. Com, M. Com, GSET, Ph.D.) is presently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of commerce & Management, Shri Govind Guru University, Godhra, Gujarat. She has a teaching experience of 12 years. She believes in positive learning environment that shaping the students into knowledgeable, skilled and well-rounded individual as well as makes them a responsible citizen of the country.
In her professional journey she has performed various services such as co-ordinator of co-curricular activities, NSS programme officer and CWDC member. She has attended/participated in more than 21 workshops/seminars/webinars/conferences. She has completed the NEP 2020 Orientation & Sensitization Programme under Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MM-TTP) of University Grant Commission (UGC) organised by UGC-MMTTC, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar.
Educational Qualification:
- B.com with second class from Sardar Patel university in 2003 with specialisation in Advanced Account & Auditing.
- M.com with First class from Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University, Mumbai in 2013 with specialisation in Finance & Taxation
- Qualified in the Gujarat State Eligibility Test for assistant professor position in universities and colleges across Gujarat in 2020.
- Ph.D. in the Department of Commerce & Management from Shri Govind Guru University in 2023. The title of Thesis is “A study on the impact of Profitability and Dividend Policy on Market Price of Share of the selected companies of NIFTY 50” under the guidance of Prin. Dr. B. V. Moradiya.
Work Experience:
- Currently working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Commerce & Management, Shri Govind Guru University, Godhra since March 4, 2025.
- Employed as an Adhyapak Sahayak of Commerce/Accountancy in Shri M. R. Desai Arts and E. E. L. K. Commerce College, Chikhli, Navsari from August 1, 2024 to March 3, 2025.
- Employed as an Assistant Professor in Dr. Thakorbhai Patel Girls’ Commerce College, Vadodara from June 2013 to July 31, 2024.
