Dr. Ketankumar Kantibhai Patel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Shri Govind Guru University, Godhra, dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for students. He firmly believes in fostering trust, respect, and a collaborative learning environment where students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. His goal is to inspire and empower them to become lifelong learners, equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed academically and personally. Beyond the classroom, he is approachable for discussions, project opportunities, and academic advice. Whether students need research guidance or career support, he strives to help them succeed.
Dr. Ketan Patel completed his graduation, post-graduation, and doctoral studies in Chemistry at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, India. He began his academic career as an ad-hoc lecturer at Navyug Science College, Surat, from 2009 to 2017. He then served as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at C.B.Patel Computer college & J.N.M.Patel Science College, Surat, from 2017 to 2025. His Area of Specialization is Corrosion Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Plants phytochemical analysis, Ground water and Soil analysis.
He has published more than 8 Research articles/papers in International refereed journals, contributed to 5 Books in National Publishing houses. He has successfully completed one minor research project funded by UGC-VNSGU, Surat. At present, two students have been actively pursuing their doctoral degrees under his supervision.
