Dr. Devarsh Patel has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Shri Govind Guru University (SGGU), Vinzol, Godhra. He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at G.D. Modi College of Arts in Palanpur. He earned his Doctorate from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad in 2024 and passed the GSET examination in 2020. Furthermore, he has published several research papers in both national and international journals. Before joining Shri Govind Guru University, he worked as an assistant professor at Shri S.T. Javeri Arts College, Gadh, for four years. He has also published three books: 1. Indian Diasporic Writers, 2. Indian Novels of Social Criticism, 3. Post-Colonial Perspective of English Literature. His research areas encompass Diaspora Studies, Post-Colonial Literature, Indian English Writing, and Theories and Criticism.
